The AI visual inspection system developed by TOMOMOMI RESEARCH Inc. was featured in TheJapan Metal Daily. The system was developed in collaboration with Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. as part of the Industrial DX project in Kanagawa Prefecture, and is bringing innovation to the steel defect inspection process at Tokyo Steel Center. Utilizing advanced lighting technology and image processing technology that enables inspections on in-service equipment, the system has proven its effectiveness in demonstration tests. This technology is expected to help improve productivity and ensure worker safety in the industry.
